The sera Scaper Cube 80 l provides everything required for a quick, successful start into the aquarium hobby: a modern aquarium, energy saving LED lighting and a low maintenance, powerful internal filter.

Different underwater worlds can be imitated or created on a base area of 40 x 40 cm (16 x 16 in.) in the sera Scaper Cube – there are no boundaries to creativity. Since the aquarium does not require a hood, even bigger roots or rocks extending out of the aquarium can find their place in the aquarium. Due to the safety strips attached approximately 1 cm (0.4 in.) below the glass edge, the risk of fish jumping out or shrimps climbing out is considerably reduced.

As a part of the sera aquarium concept, six different hardscapes consisting of roots, rocks and bottom ground were developed. The “Africa” and “Desert” Hardscapes are particularly well suited for the 80 liter (21 US gal.) aquarium. Small cichlids such as shell dwelling cichlids (Africa) or free swimming shoal fish such as rummy nose tetras or rasboras (Desert) feel well here.

The suitable technical equipment is also provided: The LED X-Change Tube daylight sunrise with a Color Rendering Index of 94 included with the kit ideally imitated natural daylight and thus ensures aquarium lighting close to nature. In case of a high fish stock or plant density it may be advisable to extend the filter capacity of the sera fil 60 internal filter included with the kit. The “filter media set” accessory pack with an additional filter cartridge, a biological filter medium (siporax mini) and a mechanical filter medium (crystal clear) are suited for this.
