Computer controlled soil heater for freshwater aquariumsIn combination with a heater thermostat, the sera bottom heater ensures water currents within the soil due to a temperature gradient (1 - 2°C difference between bottom and water temperature). This leads to nutrient transport to the plant roots, prevention of rot zones being formed, and to utilizing the bottom ground as an additional filter.
This leads to stable water parameters and splendid plant growth. The control computer allows precise adjustment of the desired temperature, a temperature probe measures the actual temperature. Particularly safe due to low voltage technology.
The kit consists of:
- 6 m (19.7 ft.) heating cable [plus 2.2 m (7.2 ft.) power cord]
- control computer with temperature probe
- 10 suction cups for easy installation on the aquarium bottom
- transformer (24 V)
