Its secret to success: The water is first directed through a 200µm stainless steel split sieve that removes leaf debris and other particles. Extreme swirling underneath the sieve additionally enriches it with oxygen.

Afterwards, about 30 liters of sera siporax pond within the collection chamber ensure biological purification of the pond water. The high performance filter medium provides an optimal surface structure for the settling of filter bacteria (8,100 m² for 30 liters). Addition of sera pond filter biostart immediately activates the filter biologically, allowing it to filter the water biologically.
