In June, it was already clear that the sera team would be represented in every discipline. From this moment on, the first workouts began. Four employees from the sera team met the challenge of the 10 km run. In the category of the 5 km run, there were even ten participants. For the Walk & Fun category with six participants, the first preparations also started weeks before the run – not only with regard to the physical endurance, but also to the outfit for the special day. The group had decided to dress up as a colorful shoal of fish. This not only strengthened the spirit of the Walk & Fun team, but also turned out to be one of the highlights at the event. The detailed costumes created a good mood not only within the team, but also among the other participants and the spectators. With great pleasure, the sera Walk & Fun team received the prize for the most creative group costume.
After the strenuous run, the sera team concluded the day together with other participants on the Heinsberg market square. We would like to thank all the hard runners who braved the temperatures of over 30°C and, of course, many thanks to the organizers for the great event!
