Betta has no upper lip
The upper lip of my Betta is missing. How is this possible? Can this be some kind of disease? It is eating perfectly normal though.

this can be due to a disease (was there possibly any kind of skin slime visible?) or an injury.
If it was that way from the beginning, a misshaping (e.g. by mineral of vitamin deficiency during the growth phase, or a genetic defect) is also possible.
It is not too severe if the fish eats normally - if eating would cause it pain it would not take up any food any more.
