Loricariids eat plants
I have 2 Ancistrus cf. dolichopterus in my tank. Unfortunately, they eat my Echinodorus plants although I feed them generously in the evening. Can I avoid this annoying plant devastation?

this is going to be difficult once the Ancistrus found out they like the - apparently very tasty - Echinodorus.
You can try herbal food tablets (sera Spirulina Tabs) or sera Catfish Chips, but sometimes this will not stop the Ancistrus eating fresh Echinodorus. In such cases it is better to do without the Echinodorus and use other plant species instead.
