Sterlet Chips is the staple food consisting of carefully processed chips without dyes and preservatives for large carnivorous pond fish such as sturgeons above approx. 40 cm (16 in.).

The high percentage of omega fatty acids, easily digestible aquatic protein, minerals and vitamins covers the high energy requirements and strengthens disease resistance of the large carnivores. Balanced development and a long, healthy life are supported.

The extremely water stable chips are suitable for year-round feeding and sink down quickly. This allows the bottom-oriented sturgeons to eat calmly without clouding the water.



Natural food for sturgeons

Sturgeons are fascinating pond fish that delight any observer by their prehistoric appearance. Their body shape also reveals their feeding habits: they move along the bottom searching for food. They prefer animal-based food, such as insect larvae, snails, or worms. A special food is essential to meet these requirements. sera offers two different types of food, Sterlet Pellets and Sterlet Chips, for small and large sturgeons, respectively. Both foods belong to the "Nature" range and do not require any dyes nor preservatives.

Directions for use
Feed once or twice daily through­out the year, only as much as the animals take up within a short time.
Ingredients

fish meal, wheat flour, wheat germ, Ca-caseinate, corn starch, brewers yeast, fish oil (4%), mannan oligosaccharides (0.4%), green-lipped mussel meat meal, Haematococcus algae, garlic.
