Sterlet Pellets is the staple food consisting of carefully processed granules without dyes and preservatives for smaller sturgeons up to approx. 40 cm (16 in.).

Contents and structure closely match the feeding habits of the sturgeons. The high quality ingredients with easily digestible aquatic protein, omega fatty acids, minerals and vitamins support the proper growth and the liveliness of the carnivorous pond fish.

The extremely water stable granules are suitable for year-round feeding and sink down quickly. This allows the bottom oriented sturgeons to eat calmly without clouding the water.



Natural food for sturgeons

Sturgeons are fascinating pond fish that delight any observer by their prehistoric appearance. Their body shape also reveals their feeding habits: they move along the bottom searching for food. They prefer animal-based food, such as insect larvae, snails, or worms. A special food is essential to meet these requirements. sera offers two different types of food, Sterlet Pellets and Sterlet Chips, for small and large sturgeons, respectively. Both foods belong to the "Nature" range and do not require any dyes nor preservatives.

Directions for use
Feed once or twice daily through­out the year, only as much as the animals take up within a short time.
Ingredients

fish meal, wheat flour, wheat germ, wheat gluten, brewers yeast, Ca-caseinate, fish oil (4%), mannan oligosaccharides (0.4%), green-lipped mussel meat meal, Haematococcus algae, garlic.
