sera Gravel Blue CO2 geçirmezdir ve suya karşı nötrdür, yani su parametreleri üzerinde etkisi yoktur ve suyu boyamaz. 2 - 3 mm ölçüsünde tanecikler sayesinde, bitkiler kusursuzca büyüyebilir. Yuvarlak taneli olması sayesinde renkli kum aynı zamanda kedibalıkları gibi dip merkezli balıkların bakımı için de uygundur.
sera Gravel Blue bağımsız bir enstitü tarafından DIN 38415-6 / EN ISO 15088 standartlarına göre değerlendirilmiş ve kirleticiler içermediği kanıtlanmıştır. Bu nedenle hassas hayvanların bakım ve beslenmesi için de uygundur.
