How can I protect sensitive plants during a treatment?
I just purchased sera omnipur S. It says on the package that it may harm soft leaved plants. Should I take Cabomba etc. out during the treatment and place them in another aquarium? Or could the plants transmit the disease into the other aquarium?
Hello,
Concerning "transplanting":
yes, that would be good! However, you should not use an aquarium stocked with fish.
Concerning "transmit disease":
this is exactly why it is best not to put them into an aquarium stocked with fish - a small tank on the window sill will do.
You should then leave the plants in there for about 4 - 6 weeks as a "quarantine".
