How many angelfish for a 300 liter aquarium?

Hello,

you can only keep one pair of adult angelfish in there. Additional specimens are, to say it in clear terms, certain death candidates!

Juveniles live in larger groups from which pairs form. These then occupy territories from which other fish are chased away.

Keeping more than one angelfish pair is possible only in aquariums larger than 500 liters, and even then it is not always successful. Such aquariums must be very well structured in any case!
