Is the sera fil 60/120 safe for juvenile shrimps?
I saw your sera fil 60/120 filters on your web site. I am interested in them particularly because of the miniature size filter medium (sera siporax mini). According to the picture, the filters appear to be shrimp safe, but is there a way to prevent juvenile shrimps from being drawn in?

the water is taken in in the bottom section and then first runs through a sponge that in itself is almost entirely safe - even for juvenile shrimps.
If you still have doubts you could simply place the filter in a filter media bag, this will prevent even the tiniest shrimp fry from getting in!
