Life expectancy of Corydoras catfish
At which age do Leopard Corydoras die from "old age"? One of my 5 specimens died yesterday, it was about 4.5 years old. One day before it still ate and behaved as always. Then it turned on its side, head downwards, etc. and stopped eating. However, there were no outside changes visible.

this might indicate an intoxication, however it would then be likely that other fish were also affected.
The life expectancy of most Corydoras species is about 8 - 10 years, but just like humans not everyone reaches an accordingly high age.
