sera donates 5,000 Euros for a good cause. The manufacturer of high quality products for aquariums, ponds and terrariums supports the network of Médecins Sans Frontières in their medical support operations in disaster and conflict areas throughout the world.

„The valuable work of Médecins Sans Frontières cannot be esteemed highly enough“, says Josef Ravnak, CEO and owner of sera. „As an enterprise, we are aware of our social responsibility. Our donation is intended to contribute to people in need get urgently required medical help.“

Médecins Sans Frontières operates in conflict areas, after natural disasters or during epidemies – such as momentarily against Ebola. The non-profit organization provides medical emergency help in over 60 countries worldwide. Their local and international personnel treats ill people, operate injured people, take care of undernourished children and distribute relief to refugees and displaced persons. The Médecins Sans Frontières network was awarded the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize for this.
