sera Shrimp Granules
Staple food for shrimps- sinking, water stable granules with natural ingredients such as spirulina and willow bark
- optimally meets the nutritional requirements
- supports healthy growth and natural coloration
- supports safe molting due to the appropriate calcium amount
- the small granules, that retain their shape for a long time, can be slowly grazed
Shrimp Granules is the staple food consisting of gently manufactured granules without dyes and preservatives for all shrimps in fresh and marine water.
The balanced composition with ingredients close to nature, such as spirulina and willow bark, provides everything the shrimps require for healthy growth and safe molting. Fertility, splendid coloration and disease resistance are enhanced in a directed way.
The sinking small granules retain their shape for a very long time, thus allowing the shrimps – according to their natural feeding habits – to grab them and slowly graze them without polluting the water.
Appropriate diet for shrimps and crabs
In nature, most shrimps of the genera Caridina and Neocaridina feed on periphyton growing on leaves, roots and stones. The sera shrimp food softens over hours so that the shrimps can graze it slowly and therefore it matches the natural feeding habits of the animals.
The sera crab food has also been especially developed to meet the requirements of these animals. In nature, most crayfish species (e.g. Astacus, Cherax, Procambarus), but also many crabs (e.g. mangrove crabs) feed mainly on fallen leaves and other organic material, such as carrion. However, aquatic animals such as insect larvae, gammarus and aquatic snails are also regularly part of their diet. The staple food for crabs therefore contains high quality ingredients of both plant and animal origin.
Both types of food contain an appropriate amount of calcium to support a safe molting process of the animals.
All sera aquarium foods belong to the “Nature” range and do not require any dyes or preservatives.
