sera Gravel Brown Lava

Brown natural gravel (Ø 2 - 3 mm) for all freshwater and marine aquariums



sera Gravel Brown is CO2 proof and neutral towards water, i.e. it has no influence on water parameters and does not tint the water. It consists of ground lava rock, and provides ideal space for settling by useful bacteria due to being open and porous. It is thus effective as a supportive natural biological filter medium. At the same time it provides plants with optimal preconditions for developing strong roots.

Due to its natural structure, the natural gravel is not suitable for keeping fish that search for food in the ground, such as Corydoras.

sera Gravel Brown is evaluated according to DIN 38415-6 / EN ISO 15088 by an independent institute, and is proven to be pollutant free. It is therefore also suited for keeping and breeding sensitive animals.
