Highly modern dispatch area for quicker shipment of goods
The construction is finished, relocation was successful – now the new sera logistics center can be put into operation. The building has 3,100 m² and provides place for 7,800 additional pallets, a highly modern shipment area as well as further laboratory and office rooms. “Due to optimizing the internal dispatch routes we now can ship our goods to our customers more quickly and more safely from now on”, explains the owner and managing director of sera, Josef Ravnak. Both domestic and foreign customers will benefit from this.
The dispatch employees were happy about the new packing stations being opened. In a celebratory environment, Josef Ravnak gave the new packing tables over to the team.
The first parcel left the new dispatch area on Thursday, July 06, 2017, and was shipped to Spain. Mr. Ravnak personally took care for shipping the parcel as to recognize this symbolic event. The Spanish customer who will receive the parcel will receive a small surprise: a stuffed animal from sera of course was not to be missed in the first parcel shipment.
