The key to successful aquascaping
The total nutrient requirements of all plants in an aquarium can be very different. It is, among others, influenced by the species and amount of plants, light intensity and lighting time, the temperature and the carbon dioxide supply.
Optimal growth – splendid, intensely colored plants – are only possible if all required nutrients are sufficiently present. If just one is missing, the plants will not grow properly and algae can spread due to the lack of competition.
The systemic fertilizers by sera close specific supply gaps: Two products containing all required minerals and trace elements for plants are available for basic supply: sera florenette is designed for plants that take up nutrients mainly through the roots. sera florena is suited best for plants that primarily take up their nutrients through the leaves.
Four special systemic fertilizers furthermore allow for an individually adjusted fertilization. The daily fertilizers sera flore vital and sera flore plant contain rare(r) micro and macro nutrients that do not remain stable long in an aquarium and therefore must be supplied daily. sera flore carbo covers increased carbon requirements. sera flore ferro supplies the plants with iron, which is often insufficiently available in densely planted and strongly lighted aquariums. The iron is chelated in a UV stable way so it remains available for the plants in the aquarium for a longer time.
However, none of the plant care products contains copper, the entire range is therefore also excellently suited for aquariums with invertebrates.
