Tiger barbs nibble at fins of Guppies
I keep tiger barbs together with Guppies in my aquarium, and the barbs have nibbled at the caudal fin of the male. Can I keep these fish together in the same tank, or must they be kept separately?

tiger barbs as well as some other barb species often nibble at long fins of other fish. Long finned fish are not recommended for keeping together with tiger barbs. They should therefore be kept separately.
It is also not advisable to keep the very lively barbs together with calm fish. The relentlessly swimming and sometimes rather pushy barbs cause too much stress for the calm fish, not allowing them - literally! - one calm minute.
