How to decolorize a water sample
How can I check water with a tint (e.g. during a disease treatment) with your test kits (the water tint makes it impossible to compare colors)?
Hello,
you first need to take a water sample a bit larger than you actually need for the test. Then decolorize this sample by adding active carbon pellets one by one. Stir after each pellet until the tint does not become paler anymore. Repeat the active carbon addition until the water is sufficiently colorless. Then carry out the test with this water.
