Which are the requirements for Siamese Fighters?
Hello,
rather soft water, gentle water currents and floating plants are advisable.
Do not add very lively or even biting additional fish (barbs!). Fish with large and colorful fins (male Guppies!) are sometimes mistaken for members of their own kind and attacked by male Fighting Fish, which may be fatal for the Guppies as they are physically far inferior.
Suitable foods include flakes (sera San, sera Vipan), granulate (especially sera Vipagran and sera Bettagran) as well as freeze dried food animals (e.g. sera FD Bloodworms, sera FD Artemia Shrimps).
