Cleaning pH electrodes
How can I best clean the sera pH measuring electrode of the seramic when there are already deposits such as lime or brush algae (especially at the tip of the electrode)? According to the product description it is supposed to be very sensitive and must be handled with care!?

pH electrodes made of glass (or in case of those made of plastic: all glass parts) are indeed very sensitive, also and especially towards mechanical damage.
For cleaning, a sera cleaning solution for pH electrodes (item no. 08930) is available through the specialized trade. This is to be used exclusively, application can be repeated if necessary.
It is not advisable to use brushes or the like - the risk of damaging the electrode irreversibly is high.
