How can I lower the iron level? Do I have to stop fertilizing?
Hello,
this is indeed the correct way if the high iron level is caused by fertilizing too much. You may simply carry out a water change for lowering the level immediately.
In case the original water already contains plenty of iron (that may especially happen in case of spring or well water) it is advisable to use water that contains less iron. Tap water usually contains hardly any iron at all.
