Fish stock for a 60 cm (23.6 in.) aquarium
I have a 60 liter (13.2 US gal.) aquarium and would like to add the following fish: Guppies, Neon Tetras and Otocinclus. How many should I add at least as to make sure they feel well but I the aquarium is not overstocked? Can I perhaps add another colorful fish species? If yes, which? Does this compilation include something for every water zone?
Hello,
you can add two male and 4 female Guppies, about 10 Neon Tetras, and 6 - 8 Otocinclus.
The tank is already rather densely stocked with the above mentioned fish (by the way: do not forget to plant the tank abundantly!).
Regarding the water zones: the Guppies tend to dwell in the upper layers, the Neon Tetras in the middle ones, and the Otocinclus close to the bottom.
