Raising the pH value while lowering the hardness at the same time
I want to change the following water parameters: reduce hardness and raise the pH. What do you recommend?

deionization with a reverse osmosis (R/O) or ion exchange system is recommended in this case.
You can then adjust the desired total hardness with sera mineral salt, the KH and pH values can then be adjusted with sera KH/pH-plus.
Alkaline soft water occurs rather rarely in nature, Lake Malawi in southeast Africa is the only water with such conditions (pH 8 - 8.5, approx. 5°dGH, approx. 7°dKH) that is relevant for the aquarium hobby. However, the fish originating from there (mainly cichlids) tolerate higher water hardness without any problems.
